Thermal Zero Product Warranty

Warranty

Most all heat insulation products manufactured and sold by Thermal Zero Inc. carries a 1 year limited manufacturers warranty.

This limited manufacturers warranty applies to physical goods, and only the physical goods purchased from Thermal Zero.

What does this limited warranty cover?

This limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

During the warranty period Thermal Zero will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

What will we do to correct problems?

Thermal Zero will either repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or replace the product.

How long does coverage last?

The warranty period for physical goods purchased from Thermal Zero is 365 days from the date of purchase.

A replacement physical good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original physical good.

What does the limited warranty not cover?

The limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

  • Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
  • Negligence or installer error.  Most of what we sell is fabric, so damage to blankets or wrap caused by sharp metal or other uncovered heat sources near the exterior of a turbo blanket are not covered.  Please be sure to read any install instructions that are included with the item you received.
  • Improper sizing or fit.  Prior to installing a questionably sized turbo blanket please check our sizing charts or call us to verify the blanket you bought will fit.  Damage to a blanket that was installed on an application it was not intended to fit is not covered under the limited warranty.
  • Exposure to flammable liquids.  We bag all of our blankets right after we make them to ensure the blankets stay contaminant free.  Do not install the blanket on a turbo that is leaking oil or use heat insulation material around leaking fuel lines.  Heat insulation material can easily soak up flammable liquids, which in turn makes a flammable blanket.  Ensure this does not happen to you and if it does you will need to replace the blanket, unfortunately, at your own cost, unfortunately…

Thermal Zero does not warranty blanket customization or modification.  Blankets that are modified by the customer to fit an application, or if the blanket is customized by us to the customers specifications are not covered by the manufacturers warranty.  Properly fit custom blanketing may take detailed drawings, they physical item being covered as well as several attempts to get it correct through testing and trial fitting.  For this reason we can not extend a warranty for one off made customized blanketing.

Thermal Zero does not cover any shipping charges incured in the warranty process.
