Thermal Zero Ceramic Burn Test
Thermal Zero Subaru OEM VF IHI and TD04 Turbo Blanket Overview and Install
Shipped quick and the wrap looks great on the bobber.
I started my 75 280z running an RB25det with a cheap, non-quality, blanket from ebay. Within a couple heat cycles and 1 or 2 removals the blanket was in shreds as well as did not hold much heat. Now as that blanket may have only been 50 dollars, I still needed a new one, I paid double that for my Thermal Zero Blanket and have ran it an entire summer and had it off and on several times without any issues. I will be using this same blanket next season and from here on out will only purchase Thermal Zero products. They by far make the best product for your money and also provide wonder customer support. Thanks guys for being such a quality company!
One of the best fitting blankets I have used. I currently have it on a Precision 76mm turbo. Very easy install and looks great.
Great product! This exhaust wrap is easy to apply. No dipping in water. Just wrap and go. I encountered minimal smoke during the break in period too. Wrap tight and ensure you wear gloves to protect your hands.
A must if you install an aftermarket downpipe. Keeps heat energy in the turbo while keeping under hood temps down. A little tricky to wire it together but overall not too hard
Must have for Up-pipes I bought this for a recent project on my 06 WRX as I purchased a Tomei header that came with an up-pipe and I needed to wrap it to keep from heat reaching my TMIC. I had the up-pipe double wrapped with thermal wrap and this fit over it no problem. A must have for the price since most brand names go for 2x the cost.
Shipped quickly, fit perfectly and looks great but more importantly works great.
Do you make a blanket for my turbo?
Do I need special tools to tighten your stainless ties?
Great product for the money! It does what it’s supposed to. Underhood temps have decreased significantly. Installation was fairly straight forward. Have a couple pairs of long nose pliers handy for installation. Threading the wire used to cinch the blanket around the turbo can be cumbersome in such a tight area.
